Sunkist, who had a little trouble finding a forever family while she was at the Olive Branch Humane Society because she strongly dislikes all other animals, was adopted during one of our book wrapping events at Barnes and Noble this past Thanksgiving weekend. Sunkist put on quite a show by rolling on her back demanding to be held and & have her belly rubbed by every person who came into the store. She was determined to find a home that day. Her plan worked.... she stole the heart of an unsuspecting book-store customer who entered the store to find a book and ended up going home with a new best friend. Sunkist is now living happily in her forever home as an "only pet" exactly the way she wanted it.
