Paco  wandered up into the yard of a compassionate dog lover.  We are not sure what he got attacked by, but he was in horrible shape.  The Good Samaritan managed to pick him up and get him to an emergency facility where they wanted to put him down.  The lady turned to Gentle Care Animal Hospital who put her in touch with us.  She transferred him there and they have cleaned his wounds.  He is a very sweet dog and only wants to lay his head on your lap and get as close as he possibly can.  He went through a  long recovery because in addition to his external and internal wounds, he has to go through heartworm treatment.  Probably would be best if he were an only dog for now as his wounds were probably made by another dog or more than one dog.  We feel he is finally ready for his forever home.  Click here for an additional photo of Paco.
