MODI

Modi is a 1.5 yr old neutered male. He is the kind of cat that has never met a stranger. He is very friendly to everyone. Some would say is he's naughty or obnoxious because he is always getting into everything. Others would say he's funny, outgoing and curious.  He doesn't have a shy bone in his body. He gets along with dogs and other cats and whoever adopts him can be sure to have a  life-long companion that will keep them laughing.

SYDNEY

Sydney here.  I am a foster brother to Jackson.  It would be really cool if we could go to the same home as we have been together so long.  But I also know that does not happen very often.  Like Jackson says, our foster mom says we can stay forever if she can't find the right loving home for us.  It would be hard to let us go, but she would if she knew we were going to a wonderful, loving home.  I am about the same age as Jackson, maybe slightly older.  I am also litter trained, up-to-date on all shots and neutered.  He and I just went in for our annual checkups.  If there is a wonderful home out there for us, give us a call.

JACKSON

Hello.  My name is Jackson Homas.  I have been with my foster family so long that I truly feel like it is my home.  And my foster mom says if I never get adopted, that's okay.  She just wishes I had a family that had more time for me.  Me and my cat siblings are pretty much confined to 1 room at her home as she has dogs that pose danger to cats.  I was rescued from MAS in 2002 with my mom and siblings.  Everyone got adopted - including me.  I was returned because I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome for the first year of my life.  The doctors said I would outgrow it and I did.  But, not before I was an adult cat and no longer a cute kitten.  Everyone knows how hard it is for adult cats to get adopted and I was a black adult cat.  Just like dogs, black cats are the last ones to be adopted.  I am a wonderful boy.  I am litter trained and would love to have more room to roam.  I am a big boy.  But that is just more to love. Apply for Adoption

 Name: Lacy

  LACY
 I am deaf.

You have to let me know you are going to pet me or it will scare me. When I become startled, I do hiss and spit, but think about it. If you did not hear someone coming up behind you and suddenly grab you what would you do. So approach me from the front and we can be best friends. A gorgeous cat from Olive Branch. She is a young female who is also in search of a forever home. She is very sweet and loving. She is totally vetted. Please fill out the GAPR online application if you are interested in adopting her.

BISHOP

This beautiful boy is Bishop and there are not enough words to tell you how great a cat he is. Bishop is very outgoing and very affectionate. Bishop was one of the first of his litter to be up and running and playing. He is such a sweet boy and really deserves a home of his own. Bishop weighs about 10lbs and is current on all vaccinations, he is liter box trained and tested negative for feline leukemia.

 Name: DESI

DESI

This distinguished gentleman is Desi and he is as refined as he appears. Desi is a somewhat serious cat but can still tear it up with the other boys when he wants to. Desi was the smallest of his litter and it took him a little longer to walk and move around but he has certainly blossomed. Desi weighs about 8 lbs and will most likely not get much bigger. He is litter box trained, current on all vaccinations and tested negative for feline leukemia.

 Name: MOZART

Mozart

Mozart was a street cat that got word of a guardian angel living in the neighborhood and decided he wanted some rescuing. He walked into her house and has declared it his own. He is very affectionate and very well fed. Mozart gets along with his other feline brethren and is thought to be around six years old. In typical feline mentality Mozart does not like dogs and tries his very best to intimidate them when he sees them. He has been tested for leukemia and aids and is negative. He is neutered and vaccinated and ready for his forever home.

Ms. Kitty
K.K.
Ms. Kitty & K.K.
Ms. Kitty is a young female (stray) probably around 2 years age, and K.K. is her kitten who is about 4-6 months old. Ms. Kitty is very sweet and surprisingly affectionate. She does not show any hostility towards other cats. she can be picked up and carried her around indoors or outdoors. She doesn't even claw when she wants down. She is very gentle-natured and has not growled or hissed once at her foster mom. She will wander in the house if given the opportunity and is becoming calmer by the day. Unfortunately, her foster mom can not have her in the house due to the territoriality of her other two cats.

K.K. is another story. He will let you pet him briefly if he is eating, but typically is very skittish. However, he does not show any hostility even when cornered. All he needs is a little love and care to become used to adults.

Ms. Kitty is spayed and K.K. is neutered. Both are up to date on shots.

 Name:  CHLOE

CHLOE
"The Fat Cat"

Hi my name is Chloe, and I have been asked if I could spare a few minutes of my busy day to tell ya'll a bit about myself. I am a princess and that is all you really need to know. I like to play but only after I have gotten to know you and once I deem you worthy I will let you cuddle and pet me. I am a shapely girl who would enjoy living in a home that is quiet, and preferably one where I am appreciated for all of my feline attributes. I have had my front claws removed to save myself time on grooming. My former owner did not work very much at socializing me so my adjustment into my foster home was a little stressful but now I rule them all with a furry paw. I live with two other cats and I like them just fine. Come out and meet me and I will see if we get along. Every house needs a good cat and seriously folks I am the best one there is!

 Name:  REESE
REESE
This is Reese and she joined the group under dire circumstances. Reese was an owner surrender, basically they no longer wanted a pet and we were to take her or they were going to kill her. Well we did and we are thankful for that. Reese is very sweet and loving. She is very talkative and likes to be held. Thankfully Reese has put her previous owners out of her mind and is ready to meet her new family.

KESTRA & MYSTIC

Kestra (background) and Mystic are fun loving girls that have been with our group for quite awhile. They were surrendered to the group with their Mother and two sets of kittens. Everyone but Kestra and Mystic have found their forever families. They don't come out to adoption day because it is to stressful for them. They are sweet girls once they get to know you and would do well if they could get a home together but are willing to go it alone for the right family.

TARA
This young girl is Tara and we rescued with her along with her mother after the big storm last year. A good Samaritan found them and contacted us and here we are. Tara is a very sweet girl and loves being with other animals. She is shy with people but once she warms up to you she will play with you. She is very "caty" in that she wants to do what she wants when she wants. She would make a great companion or entertainer.

Hi - I am one of the three brothers. I hate to say this - but I am the prettiest. I know boy cats aren't suppose to be pretty - but I have too sweet a face. You should hear me "meow." My foster mom melts! I was called Peaches for a while --- until I went to the vet and he told my Foster Mom she may want to think of a more masculine name.

Well, I couldn't have a picture of just me! Anyway, I am Herb, the one the left. I am the third of the brothers. I love to rub up next to you and watch you and be with you --- but I will decide when you can pick me up. I got all of the "cattitude" in the family. I really prefer other cats to humans but I am smart enough to know who feeds me! We are a great bunch - less than a year old but we matured fast. Please hurry - Foster Mom is getting attached.

Patches is a 6 yr old de-clawed, neutered male that is very outgoing & sweet (95% of the time). Kids should not handle him because he will “correct” you if you do something to him that he does not care for. He's a man's cat. He really enjoys being petted and having his tummy rubbed.
