Baby Dallas Dallas
ADOPTED!
This is Dallas; he is a 1 yr old chow mix and he has such a sweet, gentle disposition. Dallas has had a pretty lonely life up till now. He spent way to many months living in boarding while waiting for foster home to open up for him. In spite of all that he is a people dog, he loves to cuddle with his Foster Mom. He is living with other dogs and cats and loves playing with all of them. He is really just a big cuddly teddy bear; in fact his Foster parents call Dallas-bear! Dallas is very fun loving. He loves to romp and play and just wants to show his foster family how grateful he is to be saved. His favorite activities are to run along the fence playing with the neighbor’s dog and then come inside and lie at your feet and chew his bones. This is a great dog with a really big heart! Dallas is definitely a family dog; he would like nothing better then to have a forever family of his own.
Note from foster mom who fell in love and finally became his forever mom:

It has finally happened. I knew that my husband loved me but he has absolutely proven it to me by giving me my Christmas present early. I have struggled with the thought of having Dallas adopted for the better part of a year now. Every time I broached the subject with Matt (my husband) I would hear "No! Absolutely not! I do not want another dog". A few months ago my Mom and Dad said that they wanted Dallas and have been telling me this ever since. Well to make a long story short Matt gave me one of my presents early and it is an engraved picture frame that has Dallas Christmas 2004 on it. I thought that it was a frame to keep a picture of Dallas in since he would be moving to NY w/ my parents but much to my surprise and pleasure I discovered Dallas is staying with me forever now! We are so happy that he is going to be with us. We both love Dallas so much. He will be the fourth dog in our family and the second foster we have adopted. If I had never seen Dana at Dr. Blackburn's holding the puppy Bronson Matt and I would never have found him, Theorien or Dallas and we never would have joined the group. I am very thankful for everything that you guys did then and everything you continue to do. You have made my family very happy!
I was just thinking that Dallas was meant to be with us. Matt's favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys. Our house is devoted to them. He was the first foster dog that Matt decided we would take. When he heard that Dallas had been in boarding for so long he said "Let's go get him". Plus we never had any problem integrating him into our home and family, he just walked in the door and was right at home. Dallas is so low key and easy going 23 hours out of the day and that one hour is spent going back and forth between Matt and I giving us kisses on our legs, arms, whatever he can reach. I am so completely happy with Dallas being a St. Thomas for real. Here are some fun pics that we have. ~Lisa
