CRASH
with his foster niece (left) & now with his forever family
adopted!
This guy is Crash. He was found on the side of the road by one of our angels. She passed him and saw him fall over so she backed up and loaded him into her car. We named him crash because we thought he must have gotten hit by a car but upon further inspection we discovered several puncture wounds on his body. He was most likely attacked. Crash is staying with his Guardian Angel while he builds his strength up. He only weighed 62.5 lbs when he came to us and in one week has gained 10lbs. Crash would not have survived much longer on his own. His body had used up all of its resources and he had no muscle retention left. Even with all that Crash has been through he has not given up on life or given up his faith in humans. It is amazing to me that an animal can be so mistreated and left to die and yet everyday when I walk in his room his tail wags and he lumbers over to be petted. He has barely known anything good and worthwhile in this world but he still keeps going. It will be several weeks before he can join a family but if you are interested please fill out an application. more photos
